Энигма (1987)

"Egyma" is a 1987 horror thriller film directed by Lucio Fulci. It is co-produced by Italy and Yugoslavia and stars Jared Martin, Lara Nasinsky, Ulli Reinthaler, Sofia d’Olan, Jennifer Nod, Riccardo Acerbi, Keti Weiss, Milijana Zirojevic, Dragan Bjelogrlic, and Lilijana Blagojevic. The plot revolves around a group of tourists who get lost in the Carpathian Mountains and stumble upon an isolated village. The villagers, led by a mysterious and malevolent leader, seem to be waiting for the arrival of someone or something. As the group begins to uncover the dark secrets and rituals of the village, they realize that they are in grave danger and must find a way to escape before it's too late. The film features graphic violence and gore, as is typical of Fulci's work, and a haunting, atmospheric score by Fabio Frizzi. Despite its low budget and mixed critical reception, "Egyma" has gained a cult following among horror fans for its unsettling imagery and surreal, dreamlike atmosphere.
